Once again we are happy to announce that we won a mess of awards at last nights big shindig! Thanks to national Geographic, Lindsay Automotive, WANADA, and Think Food Group for sharing the joy of great work. What makes us the proudest of all this is that year after year we seem to pull it off.  The work last night was fantastic, the highlight of the evening was seeing great work happening in D.C. Innovative smart work ruled the day.

Harry Stamps Obit

The Best Obit Ever! The Power Of Great Copy!

When I die, I hope that someone writes such an amazing obit for me. This is like an amazing pizza or hamburger. It’s such a simple premise, yet so hard to do well. This particular obit is so well written we want to hire this writer to make great things happen for other things out there. What a joy to read such a sad thing. Harry I am sure is exceedingly proud of  his daughter for writing this. Amazing. There…

Oreo orange

Meet Oreo – Employee of the Month!

If you have been here in the past 8 months you have no doubt met Oreo. She greets everyone here with a wag and a smile; something she has learned from Ruby her older sister from day one. Ruby runs HR. Oreo is the receptionist and is learning the tricks of the trade when it comes to helping folks concept and deal with the day-to-day dealings of deadlines and drama. I Confess, I Have Not Worked A Day In My Life!

I suppose it started on my first job at Suburban Animal Hospital, cleaning cages. At age 14 there I was cleaning cat crap! Nothing smells as bad as cat crap today for me. I hated doing it! But a funny thing happened over time. I realized that I would rather be cleaning cat crap than sitting at home doing nothing. I enjoyed the folks around me and learned a ton from the office manager.  Later at one of the countless

Binge Watching

Binge Marketing – You Read It Here First!

Last night I spent 5 hours watching the new “House Of Cards” show on Netflix. First. WOW, second, wow2, I had no idea I could stay tuned into something that long. Then I realized that I watch stuff this way now. Entire seasons of Walking Dead on AMC in day. And as I ask around, I am not alone. Turns out it’s called binge Watching!  So, I was thinking, if folks are sitting down and watching an entire day of

Inova Wins Big With U.S News & World Report

Here is one of our broadcast spots for Inova. While working on the launch of the Inova 2013 creative we found out that they had won some very impressive accolades from U.S news  & World Report. So we made a spot with that to mix in with the regular media buy. The spot was a labor of love for all that were involved.

Pre Releasing Super Bowl Ads Before The Super Bowl – Why Not Just Do Great Ads All The Time?

Here we go again, the big pre release of  super bowl ads. I hate it! So you ask, why? You are in advertising, don’t you want to build hype? “Come on Matt, we got over a bazillion hits on youtube before the ad even ran”. What the hell I say! Why not do that quality advertising all year around. Why just one event? Maybe consumers would pay attention to your ads if they liked them all year long!  The part
