One of the cool projects we’re working on right now for our client at Apptix is building an online community for small and medium businesses called Biztropolis. The big idea is that small businesses need expertise they don’t have to grow their companies. They join Biztropolis to connect with other SMB’s who share their challenges or have the experience they need in areas like finance, sales and marketing, human resources, communications, personal development – even health and wellness. It’s an online city where business owners have conversations with other entrepreneurs who’ve been there and done that. Not only are we designing and building the community, SmithGifford is among the first businesses to open up a virtual office in town.

Why is Apptix spending time and energy on Biztropolis? It’s simple. Apptix is about being a friend to small businesses. Biztropolis reinforces that brand, builds awareness, and gives Apptix a way to learn more about their customers and prospects.
