SmithGifford Expands Team Roster

Names New Account Director, Assistant Account Manager and Announces Promotion

FALLS CHURCH, VA, August 11, 2011 – SmithGifford, a top ten, award-winning, full service advertising agency in the Washington region announces new additions to its team to support its rapidly expanding client roster. Specifically, the agency named Kyle Henning as Account Director,  and Anais Eslami as Assistant Account Manager. In addition, Trisha Holman was promoted to Account Supervisor.

As Account Director, Henning will be lead on the agency’s largest clients. He brings a wealth of experience in managing clients and campaigns for clients in the consumer, tourism and educational arenas. He joins SmithGifford from Rosetta Stone where he was Senior Manager of direct to consumer marketing operations responsible for the development of TV, online, OOH, print and consumer collateral communications. Prior to that, Henning was Account Supervisor at Arnold Worldwide for six years, where he managed major accounts such as Choice Hotels International, McDonald’s, Academy of Educational Development and Centers for Disease Control and the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. Previous agency experience also includes stints at Merrick Towle Communications and Goldberg Marchesano Partners, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary.

Holman has been an Account Manager with SmithGifford for a year and a half. In her new role as Account Supervisor, she will be overseeing the day-to-day management for the agency’s key accounts in the automotive, culinary, nonprofit and banking industries. She will also be assuming new managerial and leadership roles within the agency. Prior to SmithGifford, Holman was at a local boutique firm where she was involved with all aspects of marketing: creative, account management, vendor relationships and contracts, finance and accounting, media buying, and recruitment.

Eslami’s experience includes a combination of agency and client side, working with Fortune 500 clients. Most recently, she served as a Marketing Assistant at Travelex Global Business Payments where she created and executed a social media program to increase traffic to the company’s website and tripled the company’s interactions on Facebook. Prior to that, she was with Saatchi & Saatchi in New York.

Recent new client wins for SmithGifford include WANADA, Washington Gas, NISH, and José Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup.
